Survive After It Gets Inside

When Breach active plays, hide without being seen or leave while it is indoors, then restore power only after it is back outside.

What Breach active means

The creature is already inside. The official instruction is hide, stay quiet, and survive until morning. The house goes dark. Close Call is a separate badge for escaping a chase and living, which confirms a chase exists. It does not print the escape button.

Two responses that have worked

Leave while it is in. When it commits inside, the porch can be briefly empty. A solo player repeated that swap, including against the Boiled One. Outside is dark, and one player who got out was still caught. Pick the door and the waiting spot before the callout. The alert also tells residents to remain indoors, so this swap is a player strategy, not the alert text.

Hide without being seen. The recorded tutorial says to hide in a closet, not let it see you get in, and turn the flashlight off because it can see the beam. Nowhere to Hide proves a closet is a real object and that Hard or above can be cleared without entering one. Some rooms have no closet. Snowbound Lodge has no confirmed closet in the recordings used here.

The pantry has been called the safest spot and has also been the room where a hiding player was killed. A downstairs cabinet and a basement room appear in separate recordings. The basement recording does not name the map. The shed did not open.

Quiet as a Mouse requires a full Normal-or-harder night without him hearing you. Whether sound is what starts a search is argued in the recordings. Being quiet costs nothing. A hide still fails if it walks into you.

Batteries in the dark

Use a battery you already equipped. Turn the beam off when it is close. Swap the moment a cell dies. The beam does not power floodlights and is not documented as the Locust lit-area rule.

Power comes second

Do not touch the breaker while it is indoors. After it leaves, run the normal restore, shut the door, and sweep. Getting the lights back does not remove it for the rest of the night.

There is no kill condition in the description. The clock is the finish on Easy, Normal, and Hard. If it is still inside near 6 AM, hide or swap exactly as before.

If a teammate drops, a living player can still bring a world totem. Ghosts can scout. They do not pick the totem up themselves in the recordings.
